Rimac Nevera R: Redefining Hypercar Agility and Performance
The Rimac Nevera R, equipped with next-generation Rimac All-Wheel Torque Vectoring, advanced braking systems, and a performance-tuned battery, unleashes 2,107 hp to excel in cornering while surpassing the straight-line acceleration of the record-holding Nevera, achieving 0-300 km/h (186 mph) in a mere 8.66 seconds.
“Our objective with the original Nevera was to create a Grand Tourer that balanced thrilling performance with accessibility, spaciousness, and comfort,” stated Mate Rimac, Founder and President of the Rimac Group, CEO Bugatti Rimac, and Rimac Technology. “The result was a groundbreaking production all-electric hypercar that set new benchmarks, capable of both Nürburgring lap records and continent-spanning journeys. However, customer feedback indicated a desire for a vehicle that further amplified the Nevera’s cornering prowess through its advanced technology. The Nevera R is our response: it retains the core DNA of the record-breaking Nevera but is optimized for reduced weight, increased speed, and enhanced focus.”
Rimac’s design and engineering teams meticulously refined the Nevera’s characteristics, re-engineering key components to elevate its status as a hyper sports car. Featuring more focused driving dynamics, a performance-oriented battery, increased power output, and enhanced braking, the Nevera R also boasts a striking visual identity driven by performance and polished by design.
The Nevera R’s design emphasizes clean surfaces and perfect proportions, projecting a lower, sleeker profile with a forward-thrusting stance, distinguished by 21-inch rear and 20-inch front wheels. The front fascia integrates horizontal lines to accentuate aerodynamic efficiency, stance, and width, a result of close collaboration between designers and engineers to seamlessly blend sensual surfacing with precise graphics. The side profile exhibits a harmonious interplay of body color and carbon fiber, contributing to its timeless, dynamic aesthetic. New wheel designs feature extended spokes to emphasize their size and distinct color splits. A substantial fixed rear wing, coupled with an aggressive aero package including a new, larger diffuser, increases downforce by 15% and aerodynamic efficiency by 10%. Equipped with new Michelin Cup 2 tires, the Nevera R achieves a 10% reduction in total understeer, a 5% increase in lateral grip, and a 3.8-second improvement on the Nardò Handling Track. This combination of negative camber, enhanced tire grip, and increased downforce allows the Nevera R to redefine the limits of physics. Every element has been re-engineered for agility and handling, guided by a performance-driven design philosophy.
The Nevera R delivers amplified performance with an intensified focus on driver engagement. Sharper, more precise cornering is facilitated by the retuned R-AWTV system, maximizing the capabilities of the high-performance tires. Increased downforce enhances stability and lateral performance, setting a new standard for exhilarating driving on challenging roads and occasional track use. The revised traction control system broadens the R-AWTV’s capabilities, ensuring predictability even in wet conditions. Drift mode has been recalibrated for the new tires, and the steering system has been refined for a more responsive and precise driver feedback.
Constructed around the next-generation 108 kWh Rimac battery pack, the Nevera R utilizes cutting-edge technology to deliver enhanced power and efficiency within a lighter package. With 2,107 hp on tap, it achieves acceleration figures superior to the record-breaking Nevera. The new EVO2 brakes, featuring carbon ceramic discs with a silicone matrix layer, ensure superior stopping power, cooling, and durability under demanding conditions.

Launching in Nebula green, the Nevera R visually advances the Rimac narrative, translating the “Time Attack” model’s Lightning Green accents into a refined new color palette, both inside and out. The driver-centric, highly customizable interior receives additional color and trim options. Painted carbon fiber elements, such as the dashboard structure and center console accents, can be color-matched to the exterior or personalized according to customer preference.
Production of the Nevera R will be strictly limited to 40 units globally.
