With its next-generation Rimac All-Wheel Torque Vectoring and advanced braking system, complemented by a performance-oriented battery and an output of 2,107 hp, the Nevera R is engineered for superior cornering capabilities. It achieves its straight-line performance even more rapidly than the record-breaking Nevera, reaching 300 km/h (186 mph) in just 8.66 seconds.
Mate Rimac, Founder and President of the Rimac Group, CEO Bugatti Rimac and Rimac Technology, stated, “When we developed the Nevera, a key objective was to create a Grand Tourer. We ensured it offered spaciousness, comfort, and a finely balanced blend of exhilaration and accessibility. The result perfectly struck that balance: a high-performance, record-breaking vehicle capable of setting new benchmarks at the Nürburgring Nordschleife and undertaking continent-spanning journeys comfortably. This marked a pivotal moment in automotive performance, establishing the world’s first production all-electric hypercar and ushering in a new era. However, we are committed to continuously refining our offerings to meet customer desires, and many expressed a wish for a car that further emphasizes the Nevera’s cornering prowess through its advanced technology. In response, we present the Nevera R: retaining the DNA of the record-breaking Nevera, but with reduced weight, enhanced speed, and a more focused performance profile.”
Rimac’s designers and engineers meticulously analyzed the Nevera’s characteristics, re-engineering key elements to elevate its status to that of a hyper sports car. Featuring more focused driving dynamics, a performance-optimized battery, increased power, and an advanced braking system, the Nevera R also exhibits a distinctive visual identity driven by performance and refined by design.
Characterized by clean surfacing and an emphasis on achieving perfect proportions, the Nevera R presents a lower, sleeker silhouette with a forward-leaning stance, distinguished by 21-inch rear wheels and 20-inch front wheels. The front fascia is designed to be both striking and technically sophisticated, with horizontal lines that accentuate aerodynamic efficiency, stance, and width. This design was realized through close collaboration between designers and engineers, seamlessly integrating sensual surfacing with precise graphics into the front clam. The side profile of the Nevera R showcases a harmonious integration of body color and carbon fiber, contributing to its timeless, dynamic aesthetic. The wheel designs feature extended spokes to emphasize their size and distinct color splits. The substantial fixed rear wing, coupled with an aggressive aerodynamic package including a new, larger diffuser, enhances downforce by 15% and aerodynamic efficiency by 10%. Equipped with new Michelin Cup 2 tires, overall understeer is reduced by 10%, lateral grip is increased by 5%, and the lap time around the Nardò Handling Track is improved by 3.8 seconds. This combination of negative camber, the increased grip of the new tires, and the augmented downforce equips the Nevera R to redefine the limits of physics. Every component, conceived with a performance-driven design philosophy, has been re-engineered for enhanced agility and handling.
The Nevera R delivers amplified performance with an even greater emphasis on driver engagement. It offers sharper and more precise cornering through the new generation Rimac All-Wheel Torque Vectoring (R-AWTV) system, which has been recalibrated to maximize the potential of its high-performance tires. Increased downforce provides enhanced stability and lateral performance, establishing a new benchmark for driving exhilaration on winding B-roads and occasional track excursions. The traction control system has been revised to broaden the capabilities of the R-AWTV, ensuring predictable handling even in adverse wet conditions. The drift mode has been adjusted to accommodate the new tire specification, and the steering system has been refined for a more immediate response and crisper driver feedback.
Constructed around the next-generation 108kWh Rimac battery pack, the Nevera R utilizes cutting-edge technology to deliver increased power and efficiency within a new, lighter architecture. With an available output of 2,107 hp, it surpasses even the record-holding Nevera in acceleration. The new EVO2 brakes are carbon-ceramic with a silicone matrix layer, ensuring superior stopping performance, enhanced cooling, and improved durability during demanding usage.

The Nevera R, presented in Nebula Green, represents a visual evolution of Rimac’s design narrative, translating the Time Attack’s Lightning Green accents into a new color palette for both the interior and exterior. The driver-centric, highly customizable interior of the Nevera has been updated with expanded color and trim options. Painted carbon fiber elements, such as the main dashboard structure and center console trims, can be specified to match the exterior color or be personalized according to customer preferences.
The production run of the Nevera R will be limited to 40 units globally.
