The Rimac Nevera R represents a focused evolution of the record-breaking Nevera, engineered to elevate cornering dynamics and straight-line acceleration beyond its predecessor. With an enhanced powertrain delivering 2,107 hp, advanced Rimac All-Wheel Torque Vectoring (R-AWTV), and upgraded braking systems, the Nevera R achieves 300 km/h (186 mph) in a mere 8.66 seconds, surpassing even the performance benchmarks set by the original Nevera.
“When we developed the Nevera, a core objective was to create a Grand Tourer that offered a compelling balance of spaciousness, comfort, and an exhilarating yet accessible driving experience. This resulted in a high-performance vehicle capable of setting new benchmarks at the Nürburgring Nordschleife and undertaking extensive continental journeys. The Nevera was a watershed moment, establishing the world’s first production all-electric hypercar and ushering in a new era of automotive performance. However, our commitment to customer desires is relentless. Many requested a vehicle that would further accentuate the Nevera’s cornering prowess, leveraging its advanced technologies. The Nevera R is our response: it retains the DNA of the record-breaking Nevera but is lighter, faster, and more focused on performance.”

Rimac’s design and engineering teams undertook a comprehensive reassessment of the Nevera’s characteristics, re-engineering key elements to position the Nevera R firmly within the hyper sports car domain. Featuring more refined driving dynamics, a performance-oriented battery, increased power output, and advanced braking systems, the Nevera R also adopts a distinct visual identity driven by performance and elevated by design.
Characterized by clean surfaces and an emphasis on achieving perfect proportions, the Nevera R presents a lower, sleeker silhouette with a forward-thrusting stance, accentuated by 21-inch rear and 20-inch front wheels. The front fascia is designed for both visual impact and aerodynamic efficiency, with horizontal lines that highlight its stance and width. This design was achieved through close collaboration between designers and engineers, seamlessly integrating sensual surfacing with precise graphical elements into the front clam. The side profile showcases a harmonious interplay between body color and carbon fiber, contributing to a timeless, dynamic aesthetic. The wheels feature new designs with extended spokes to emphasize their size and distinct color splits. A prominent fixed rear wing, coupled with an aggressive aerodynamic package including a larger diffuser, enhances downforce by 15% and aerodynamic efficiency by 10%. The integration of new Michelin Cup 2 tires reduces overall understeer by 10%, increases lateral grip by 5%, and consequently reduces lap times at the Nardò Handling Track by 3.8 seconds. This combination of negative camber, enhanced tire grip, and increased downforce equips the Nevera R to push the boundaries of physics. Every component has been re-engineered for enhanced agility and handling, reflecting a performance-driven design philosophy.
The Nevera R delivers augmented performance with an intensified focus on driver feedback. Sharper, more precise cornering is enabled by the next-generation All-Wheel Torque Vectoring (R-AWTV) system, recalibrated to maximize the potential of the high-performance tires. Increased downforce contributes to enhanced stability and lateral performance, establishing a new benchmark for driving excitement on challenging B-roads and occasional track excursions. The traction control system has been revised to expand the capabilities of the R-AWTV, ensuring predictable behavior even in adverse wet conditions. Drift mode has been optimized for the new tires, and the steering system has been refined for a more responsive and precise driver input.
Constructed around the next-generation 108kWh Rimac battery pack, the Nevera R utilizes cutting-edge technology to deliver superior power and efficiency within a lighter package. With an available 2,107 hp, it achieves acceleration figures that exceed even the record-holding Nevera. The new EVO2 brakes, constructed from carbon ceramic with a silicone matrix layer, provide improved stopping performance, enhanced cooling, and superior durability during demanding usage.

Unveiled in Nebula Green, the Nevera R represents a visual progression of Rimac’s design language, translating the “Time Attack” model’s Lightning Green accents into a new color palette for both the interior and exterior. The driver-centric, highly customizable interior has been updated with expanded color and trim options. Painted carbon fiber elements, such as the dashboard structure and center console trims, can be matched to the exterior color or personalized according to customer preference.
Production of the Nevera R will be strictly limited to 40 units globally.
