The Rimac Nevera R redefines hypercar performance, emphasizing track-oriented dynamics and enhanced cornering capabilities while building upon the record-breaking foundation of the original Nevera. Equipped with next-generation Rimac All-Wheel Torque Vectoring (R-AWTV), advanced EVO2 brakes, and a performance-tuned battery system, the Nevera R delivers an astonishing 2,107 hp. This power enables it to achieve straight-line acceleration even more rapidly than its predecessor, reaching 300 km/h (186 mph) in a mere 8.66 seconds.
Mate Rimac, Founder and President of the Rimac Group, CEO Bugatti Rimac and Rimac Technology, explains, “When we developed the Nevera, an important part of the brief was that it should be a Grand Tourer. We made sure it was spacious, comfortable and finely balanced between thrilling and accessible. Ultimately what we achieved struck that balance perfectly; a high-performance record-breaking car that could set new benchmarks at the Nürburgring Nordschleife and be driven comfortably thousands of miles across continents. It was a watershed moment in automotive performance; the world’s first production all-electric hypercar, single-handedly leading a new generation. But we’re relentlessly tweaking to customers’ desires, and many were looking for a car that really emphasized the Nevera’s cornering ability, using all the advanced technology on-board. We responded with the Nevera R: all the DNA of the record-breaking Nevera, but lighter, faster and more focused.”
Rimac’s design and engineering teams have meticulously refined the Nevera’s characteristics to elevate it further into the hyper sports car domain. The Nevera R features more focused driving dynamics, a performance-oriented battery, increased power output, and advanced braking systems. This enhanced performance is complemented by a striking visual identity, engineered for aerodynamic efficiency and refined aesthetics.
The Nevera R presents a sleeker, lower profile with a forward-thrusting stance, accentuated by its 21-inch rear and 20-inch front wheels. The front fascia is designed for both visual impact and aerodynamic function, with horizontal lines emphasizing stance and width. This design is the result of close interdisciplinary collaboration, integrating sensual surfacing with precise graphic elements. The side profile exhibits a harmonious blend of body color and carbon fiber, contributing to its timeless, dynamic silhouette. New wheel designs with extended spokes enhance their visual presence, featuring distinct color splits. The substantial fixed rear wing, coupled with an aggressive aero package including a new, larger diffuser, increases downforce by 15% and aerodynamic efficiency by 10%. Equipped with new Michelin Cup 2 tires, the Nevera R achieves a 10% reduction in total understeer, a 5% increase in lateral grip, and a 3.8-second improvement in lap times around the Nardo Handling Track. This synergy of negative camber, enhanced tire grip, and increased downforce allows the Nevera R to push the boundaries of physics. Every component has been re-engineered with agility and handling as paramount objectives, driven by a performance-centric design philosophy.
The Nevera R offers an elevated performance experience with an intensified focus on driver feedback. The recalibrated R-AWTV system facilitates sharper, more precise cornering, optimizing the potential of the high-performance tires. Augmented downforce enhances stability and lateral performance, establishing a new standard for exhilarating driving on winding roads and occasional track use. The revised traction control system expands the capabilities of R-AWTV, ensuring predictable handling even in adverse weather conditions. The drift mode has been adapted for the new tires, and the steering system has been refined for a more responsive and crisp driver connection.
Built around the next-generation 108 kWh Rimac battery pack, the Nevera R utilizes cutting-edge technology for superior power delivery and efficiency within a lighter package. With 2,107 hp at its disposal, it surpasses the acceleration capabilities of the record-setting Nevera. The new EVO2 brakes are constructed from carbon-ceramic with a silicone matrix layer, ensuring exceptional stopping power, thermal management, and durability under extreme usage.

Introduced in Nebula green, the Nevera R represents a visual progression of Rimac’s design language, translating the “Lightning Green” accents of the Time Attack edition into a new interior and exterior color scheme. The driver-centric, highly customizable interior has been enhanced with additional color and trim options. Painted carbon fiber elements, such as the dashboard structure and center console accents, can be matched to the exterior color or personalized to customer preference.
Production of the Nevera R will be strictly limited to 40 units globally.
