The Rimac Nevera R represents a focused evolution of its record-breaking predecessor, meticulously engineered for unparalleled cornering prowess and enhanced straight-line acceleration. Leveraging next-generation Rimac All-Wheel Torque Vectoring and an advanced braking system, coupled with a performance-optimized battery delivering a staggering 2,107 hp, the Nevera R achieves straight-line performance even surpassing the original Nevera, reaching 300 km/h (186 mph) in just 8.66 seconds.
“When we developed the Nevera, a key objective was to create a Grand Tourer that balanced spaciousness, comfort, and an accessible yet thrilling driving experience. This resulted in a perfectly balanced, high-performance vehicle capable of setting new benchmarks at the Nürburgring Nordschleife and undertaking continent-spanning journeys with ease. The Nevera marked a watershed moment as the world’s first production all-electric hypercar, spearheading a new era. However, in our continuous pursuit of customer desires, many expressed a longing for a vehicle that would more intensely emphasize the Nevera’s cornering capabilities, utilizing its advanced technology to its fullest. Our response is the Nevera R: embodying all the DNA of the record-breaking Nevera, but with a focus on reduced weight, increased speed, and heightened performance.”
Mate Rimac, Founder and President of the Rimac Group, CEO Bugatti Rimac and Rimac Technology, states: “Rimac designers and engineers conducted a thorough assessment of the Nevera’s characteristics, re-engineering key elements to elevate it further into the hyper sports car domain. With more refined driving dynamics, a performance-oriented battery, increased power, and more advanced braking systems, the Nevera R also presents a visual identity that is intrinsically linked to performance and polished by design.”
Characterized by clean surfaces and a meticulous focus on achieving perfect proportions, the Nevera R projects a lower, sleeker silhouette, accentuated by a forward-thrusting stance and the distinct combination of 21-inch rear and 20-inch front wheels. The front fascia is designed for both striking impact and technical sophistication, featuring horizontal lines that emphasize aerodynamic efficiency, stance, and width. This design was realized through close collaboration between designers and engineers, seamlessly integrating sensual surfacing and precise graphic elements into the front clam. From a side profile, the Nevera R exhibits a harmonious interplay between body color and carbon fiber, contributing to its timeless, dynamic aesthetic. The wheels boast new designs with elongated spokes that accentuate their dimensions and distinctive split color schemes. The prominent fixed rear wing, coupled with an aggressive aerodynamic package including a new, larger diffuser, enhances downforce by 15% and aerodynamic efficiency by 10%. Equipped with new Michelin Cup 2 tires, overall understeer is reduced by 10%, lateral grip is increased by 5%, and lap times on the Nardo Handling Track are decreased by 3.8 seconds. Through this combination of negative camber, elevated grip levels from the new tires, and augmented downforce, the Nevera R is poised to redefine the limits of physics. Every component, conceived under a performance-driven design philosophy, has been re-evaluated to optimize agility and handling.
The Nevera R delivers heightened performance with an intensified focus on driver engagement. It offers sharper, more precise cornering courtesy of the re-tuned next-generation All-Wheel Torque Vectoring (R-AWTV) system, optimized to harness the full potential of the high-performance tires. Increased downforce contributes to enhanced stability and lateral performance, setting a new benchmark for exhilarating driving on winding B-roads and occasional track use. The traction control system has been revised to expand the capabilities of the R-AWTV, ensuring predictable behavior even in wet conditions. Drift mode has been recalibrated to accommodate the new tires, and the steering system has been refined for a more responsive and crisp driver feedback.
Constructed around the next-generation 108kWh Rimac battery pack, the Nevera R harnesses cutting-edge technology to deliver enhanced power and efficiency within a new, lighter architecture. With 2,107 hp at its disposal, it achieves even greater acceleration than the record-holding Nevera. The new EVO2 brakes are carbon-ceramic with a silicone matrix layer, ensuring superior stopping performance, cooling efficiency, and durability under demanding usage.

Available in Nebula green, the Nevera R represents a visual evolution of Rimac’s design language, translating the Time Attack’s Lightning Green accents into a refined new color palette for both the interior and exterior. The driver-centric, highly customizable interior of the Nevera has been updated with additional color and trim options. Painted carbon fiber elements, such as the main dashboard structure and center console trims, can be specified to match the exterior color or be personalized according to customer preference.
Production of the Nevera R will be strictly limited to 40 units globally.
