The Rimac Nevera R represents a significant evolution, meticulously engineered for unparalleled cornering prowess and accelerated straight-line performance. Featuring the next-generation Rimac All-Wheel Torque Vectoring, advanced braking systems, and a performance-optimized battery, the Nevera R unleashes 2,107 hp. This potent combination enables it to achieve 300 km/h (186 mph) in an astonishing 8.66 seconds, surpassing the already record-breaking performance of the standard Nevera.
Mate Rimac, Founder and President of the Rimac Group, CEO Bugatti Rimac and Rimac Technology, stated, “When we developed the Nevera, an important part of the brief was that it should be a Grand Tourer. We made sure it was spacious, comfortable and finely balanced between thrilling and accessible. Ultimately what we achieved struck that balance perfectly; a high-performance record-breaking car that could set new benchmarks at the Nürburgring Nordschleife and be driven comfortably thousands of miles across continents. It was a watershed moment in automotive performance; the world’s first production all-electric hypercar, single-handedly leading a new generation. But we’re relentlessly tweaking to customers’ desires, and many were looking for a car that really emphasized the Nevera’s cornering ability, using all the advanced technology on-board. We responded with the Nevera R: all the DNA of the record-breaking Nevera, but lighter, faster and more focused.”
Rimac designers and engineers have comprehensively analyzed and re-engineered the Nevera’s core characteristics to position the Nevera R firmly within the hyper sports car segment. Enhanced driving dynamics, a more performance-oriented battery, increased power output, and advanced braking systems define this evolution. The Nevera R also boasts a distinct visual identity, a direct reflection of its performance focus and refined design.
Characterized by clean surfacing and meticulously crafted proportions, the Nevera R presents a lower, sleeker silhouette with a dynamic forward-thrusting stance, accentuated by 21-inch rear and 20-inch front wheels. The front fascia is engineered for both striking aesthetics and aerodynamic efficiency, with horizontal lines that emphasize its stance and width. This design was achieved through close interdisciplinary collaboration between design and engineering teams, seamlessly integrating fluid surfacing with precise graphic elements. The side profile of the Nevera R exhibits a harmonious interplay between body color and exposed carbon fiber, contributing to its timeless and dynamic profile. Newly designed wheels with extended spokes enhance their visual impact and feature distinct color splits. The integration of a substantial fixed rear wing and an aggressive aerodynamic package, including a new, larger diffuser, results in a 15% increase in downforce and a 10% improvement in aerodynamic efficiency. Equipped with new Michelin Cup 2 tires, the Nevera R achieves a 10% reduction in total understeer, a 5% increase in lateral grip, and a 3.8-second reduction in lap times around the Nardo Handling Track. This combination of optimized negative camber, heightened tire grip, and augmented downforce empowers the Nevera R to redefine the limits of automotive physics. Every component has been meticulously re-evaluated through a performance-driven design philosophy to maximize agility and handling precision.
The Nevera R delivers significantly enhanced performance with a heightened emphasis on driver engagement and feedback. It offers sharper, more precise cornering capabilities, facilitated by the re-tuned next-generation Rimac All-Wheel Torque Vectoring (R-AWTV) system, which is optimized to exploit the full potential of the high-performance tires. Increased downforce contributes to superior stability and lateral performance, establishing a new benchmark for driving exhilaration on winding roads and occasional track excursions. The traction control system has undergone revisions to expand the efficacy of the R-AWTV, ensuring predictable handling even in adverse wet conditions. The drift mode has been recalibrated to complement the new tire compound, and the steering system has been refined for more responsive and crisper driver feedback.
Constructed around the next-generation 108kWh Rimac battery pack, the Nevera R harnesses cutting-edge technology to deliver amplified power and efficiency within a newly optimized, lighter architecture. With an available 2,107 hp, it achieves unprecedented acceleration, surpassing the already record-setting performance of the standard Nevera. The new EVO2 brakes are constructed from carbon ceramic with a silicone matrix layer, ensuring superior stopping power, enhanced cooling performance, and exceptional durability under demanding usage.

The Nevera R, launched in Nebula Green, signifies a visual progression of the Rimac brand narrative, translating the “Lightning Green” accents from the Time Attack model into a new color scheme for both the exterior and interior. The driver-centric, highly customizable interior of the Nevera has been enhanced with expanded color and trim options. Painted carbon fiber elements, such as the main dashboard structure and center console trim, can be color-matched to the exterior or personalized according to customer specifications.
Production of the Nevera R will be strictly limited to 40 units globally.
